Die App stürzt beim Starten ab.

Sehr gut gemacht, es macht viel Spass damit zu lernen. Nur sind noch Übersetzungsfehler enthalten gerade oft was das Du und das Sie betrifft!!! Nicht immer gut übersetzt. Wenn man es besser weiß macht es nix für absolute Anfänger aber dann keine echte Hilfe. Ansonsten Top!!!!sehr empfehlenswert!

Für Leute die korrekt lernen wollen ist diese App sicher nichts. Die deutsche Übersetzung ist nur bedingt richtig. Edit: für diesen Preis ist die Qualität der Übersetzung viel zu schlecht! Grob passt zwar alles, aber ein "Ticket" ist keine "Karte", und "Unde este centrul?" Bedeutet nicht: "wie komme ich ins Zentrum?" Totaler Quatsch

Die App bietet nur eine einzige Lektion an, die nach fünf Minuten beendet ist. Dabei wird nicht die Grammatik erklärt, sondern man muss ein und denselben Satz gefühlte Tausend mal aus "Wort-Bausteinen" zusammensetzen. Der Lerneffekt ist dabei natürlich gleich null. Für alle weiteren Lektionen muss man dann zahlen - was ich allerdings nicht tun würde, angesichts der Qualität der bisher gemachten Lektion. Wer auf Premium upgraden möchte, der muss dann 14,99 € blechen. Das Ganze ist einfach total sinnlos. Die App hab ich dann gleich wieder gelöscht. (Wer eine Sprache kostenlos per App lernen möchte, dem sei stattdessen duolingo ans Herz gelegt. Dort gibt es allerdings kein rumänisch - schade!)

Es macht grundsätzlich Spaß mit der App zu lernen. Die Übersetzung ins Deutsche ist aber nicht immer 100%ig. Hier sollte man nachbessern. Ebenso tauchen plötzlich neue Worte in Sätzen auf, die erstmal unverständlich sind, da wie gesagt, die hinterlegte deutsche Übersetzung oft keinen Sinn ergibt. Wenn man parallel noch einen Übersetzer bemüht, kommt man weiter, was aber bei dem Preis der Vollversion nicht sein sollte. Die Sprachausgabe ist sehr gut. Besonders hilfreich kann bei schweren Worten die "Schneckentaste" sein, um sich damit die Worte in "Slow Motion" anzuhören. Leider wird diese Taste aber nicht immer angeboten. Als Einsteiger Sprachkurs ist die App sicher sinnvoll, will man allerdings mehr in die Tiefe, benötigt man einfach detailliertere und vor allem korrekte Übersetzungen.

...leider habe ich das vom iphone ausgemacht. Wollte aber Übungen auch mal auf meinen ipads machen, hier müsste ich nochmal bezahlen. Also überlegt euch, mit welchen Gerät ihr üben wollt. Eigentlich konnte ich bisher anstandslos alle Apps auf meinem ipad und iphone nutzen, ohne zusätzliche Gebühren. Die Art der Übungen sind gut gelungen, Möglichkeit der Aufnahme der eigenen Aussprache zum Vergleich. Variationen der Worte und wie diese benutzt werden. Muttersprachler sprechen vor, männlich und weiblich. Und sogar eine verlangsamte Version, zum genauen hinhören ist dabei. Was fehlt? - Nutzbarkeit auf mehr als einem Gerät. - Wörtliche Übersetzungen, um die Unterschiede zum deutschen aufzuzeigen. Bspl. Deutsch: Das ist mein Vater. Rumänisch: El este tatal mea. Wörtlich: Er ist mein Vater! Nicht: Das ist mein Vater. Das wäre: să este tatal mea, das sagt man aber nicht. Oder : Wie gehts dir? Ce faci? Wörtlich: Was machst du? Ce=Was nicht Wie Face=tun, machen, nicht gehen, das wäre a merge. Das wärs. Nun lerne ich weiter auf dem kleinen iphone,

A very good way to practice speaking with the chat bot when you aren’t comfortable to speak with people yet!

While the vast majority is right, there’s a good chunk *at least from the Romanian side* that is highly incorrect. I’ve had to had my husband translate some of the phrases that it says because they are incorrect and it doesn’t teach you the actual correct version, for example it has told me a word or said it on the voice overs but it’s a version of the word that is either rarely used or not correct according to even the definition, if you select the word yes it gives you the correct one but the voice overs won’t give you the right one. I’m not sure if Romanian is the only one that it’s done this with but it’s been a recurring problem for me and I’ve been using it for a month straight.

I downloaded this app to help me learn how to converse with my new family (via marriage). It's nice that it offers multiple learning methods. Typing, word association (matching pictures with names/words), listening (with various speeds), and even using the mic to include practice speaking. It teaches proper grammar at the same time as vocabulary. It's not very childish in design/interactions like some other apps, so that's good for me (adult language learner).

I have no complaints. I like that you can tap the mic button to have them repeat new words and phrases as many times as you need. Various styles of questions and methods of learning. Keeps your attention with the quick mini lessons.

It really helps you learn the language

I’m learning Romanian mainly because I think the language is cool & interesting I’m pretty sure many have started off with Duolingo, as I did. This app is a lot better than other language teaching apps because it teaches you things you need to know (basic words) not nonsense such as other apps (Duolingo, etc). The lesson reviews are perfect aswell, so you are able to review what you may have missed or don’t remember! Overall the app is just amazing and I would recommend Mondly to anyone trying to learn a new language!💙

It’s been a great app so far. I do get a bit confused by the slide up or down cards sometimes though. It would be better to just have a button and select the right word.

My family and I are trying to learn my wife’s native language and it’s been difficult. This app makes learning the language easier, enjoyable, and something you want to do all day long—thank you!

This app could be a lot better if it instructs you where to begin and how to follow after. You begin with simple vocabulary words. Then from there you have no guidance where to go next. So you end up going to other lessons you can’t understand because there are more advanced. So you kind of scratch your head wondering what lesson you should do next in order to learn more words and progress.

I love the user friendliness of the app. It is fun to use and very interactive with a lot reinforcement of both visual and auditory senses. What has caused me to rate this app so low is the fact that the creators of this app don’t appear to ever respond to feedback left in the app. I am trying to learn Romanian and there are so many times when the recording doesn’t match the sentence word for word in Romanian. For instance, “Eu am un hobby” is what the recording says. Down below we are to fill in the blank it says, “Am o ____” and the word “hobby” is not an option to select for the fill in not to mention the fact that the rest of the sentence is different from the recording. No matter how many times I have left feedback on these issues, nothing ever changes on the lessons. I like learning multiple ways to say things but the recordings should match the written sentences!

I’m only using the free app but I can not fathom how much I’ve retained. I have no idea what the Romanian alphabet or letters even sound like but I’m still learning new phrases and words by hearing them AND reading. Totally Impressed with this app.

They can’t even spell 12 right in Romanian god only knows what else is wrong with it

Most amazing romanian language app!!! Yes it starts off slowly, but it a great way to learn the fairly time consuming language. So far the recitation of words and sentences is great!!! Va multumesc!!! I am enjoying it to the fullest!!!

I very much enjoy using this app. I have learned a lot from it. My only complaint is that it is not consistent in certain verb conjugations. That being said, I have only used it to learn Romanian, so I’m not sure if this is an issue with the other languages the app offers. I would recommend this language learning software to anyone, it’s fun, easy to use and well worth the price.

Does what it should, good tests and fun way to learn

I love this app so far! Each lesson uses a mix of techniques. Some require you to listen closely, some to recall the word, and some to attempt the spelling. I think this really helps to actually learn!

I tried to find Romanian in the more well known language apps including Rosetta Stone and Babble, and it wasn’t available. This app has proven to be a great way to learn the beautiful language, and is fun. The points make it feel like a game, and the chat bot helps me practice what I am learning. This is a good app but when I was done with all of the learning I had to pay money so I deleted the app because of that and also it took storage 😔😞

Finally an app that actually gives me all I need without the outlandish price of $400. Visual and audio immersion which is essential for learning a new language later in life. My wife who is Romanian has seen marked improvement in my knowledge and understanding in just one section!

Isn't there always a but? I like this app across the board but it lacks in one area. I find nothing that defines basic grammarical structure. I am left to guess masculine, feminine, or neutral as well as verb conjugations, etc. Okay, I slept thru this in grammar school and had to learn it all by ear. It done took me a durn lifetime ta speak gooder enuf.

This is a fantastic learning app. I spent $50 for 12 months and I was given every language they offered. I am focused on Romanian right now. I have been using the app for at least 30 min/day for three weeks. I am learning and the repetition is helpful. Where it falls slightly short are in three areas: 1-The microphone/oral answering has to be improved. It simply can't understand what I've said. I even had a Romanian speaker try and it failed a few times. 2-I'd like to see simple verb conjugation lessons. Sure, in time you learn pronouns and their respective verb tenses and spellings, but an exercise per module would be great. 3-When you ask me to type the English equivalent of the Romanian phrase and I type “I would like”, don’t tell me i’m wrong because the answer is “I’d like”. Teach words, not contractions and st the very least acknowledge these are the same. I use other apps, in addition to this to further my leaning. This really is a fantastic offering and worth the price for anything me who wants to inv sit in their knowledge of another language.

I bought this app back in 2015 for a ONE time fee of $16.99. I used this app often to learn Romanian and it helped me learn a lot. Yesterday, I tried to login and all of my data was missing and all of the levels were locked. I thought this was strange. It said enter your email address to login. Back then when I purchased it there was no email address needed to login so I entered the email tag I had used to purchase this app from apple. Of course it says it doesn't work. I contact them telling them I am paid customer from 2015 and of course they just say sorry no email associated with that account. Even though I sent Roxana the screenshot of my purchase. Now, they require you to PAY $9.99 a month or $50.00 for a year subscription. How dare you fraudsters. I paid for this app back then and you guys decide to just take people hard work away and make us pay again??? I contacted apple about this and they refunded my money and said they are looking into the issue. What greed does to some people, lol. You guys think you can just revoke our data and make us pay again when we already did pay. Let me tell you something. I will never download this app again and I will never recommend this to anyone. Especially how rude roxanna was. You guys are scammers, con-artists. I recommend to Use duolingo so you don't have to get the bait and switch from these con artists. If you go on there FB you will see that other users have voiced the same issues. Shame on you and shame on your company. Can't wait till apple decides to cancel you guys out. If you guys have this issue please contact apple they will refund your money at least.
